Copywriting
I work with companies to provide effective marketing material and sparkling social media copy, with recent clients including Icelandair, Visit Reykjavik, Visit Austurland (East Iceland) and Blue Lagoon.
Editing
I advise organisations that seek clear, concise text, and provide editing services to companies ranging from travel publishers and airlines to government departments.
Guidebook writing
Since 2000 I have written more than 50 travel guides for Lonely Planet, the world's leading guidebook publisher, plus other renowned publishers such as Fodor's Travel. Destinations covered include Greece, Slovenia, Estonia, New Zealand, various regions of Australia, and a heavy dose of the Nordics.
Feature writing
